Hi, I’m Amanda Valvano (she/her), a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the founder of Grow Well & Co., a private practice offering therapy for adults in Montréal and online across Canada.

I provide in-person therapy in downtown Montréal and online counselling across Canada, offering a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space for self-exploration, emotional growth, and healing.

My practice focuses on men’s mental health, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions, helping adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck rediscover balance and confidence.

My APPROACH

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, grounded, and real. My approach is integrative, systemic, and client-centered, focusing on the interplay between your emotions, relationships, lived experiences, and the patterns that shape your day-to-day life. This allows us to work in a way that honors your personality, your history, and the challenges you're facing today.

In our work together, we’ll look at the patterns, emotions, and beliefs that keep you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. We’ll build practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, self-awareness, and healthier relationships, while also exploring the deeper roots of your experiences—including identity, family dynamics, trauma responses, and attachment styles.

The therapeutic relationship is a central part of this process. You’ll have space to speak openly, reflect honestly, and move at your own pace. My role is to help you feel seen, supported, and understood, while also gently challenging the stories and behaviours that no longer serve you.

Whether you're navigating burnout, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship patterns, communication difficulties, or major life changes, therapy is a place to gain clarity, strengthen your sense of self, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

At Grow Well & Co., I believe therapy is a space to reconnect… with yourself, with others, and with the parts of you that deserve understanding and compassion. My work focuses on helping individuals, especially men, build emotional awareness, self-leadership, and healthier relationships through curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based therapeutic tools.

This is a space where men feel safe to open up and explore their inner world, and where women grow strong in their sense of self. Together, we work on developing the confidence, clarity, and emotional resilience needed to navigate stress, relationships, identity, and everyday life with more intention and ease. Therapy here is about learning to care for yourself with the same empathy you offer everyone else, and discovering who you are when you finally allow yourself to grow.

My PHILOSOPHY

OUTSIDE THE THERAPY ROOM

Beyond my practice, you’ll often find me connecting with friends over coffee, exploring new places, or hanging out with my dog, Franky. Connection, curiosity, and compassion shape everything I do, both personally and professionally.

If you’re ready to start therapy or curious about whether we’d be a good fit, I’d love to connect.
